Account Deletion

Effective September 21, 2026

Delete your Vita Sancta account and its associated data, from the app or by contacting us without reinstalling it.

Delete in Vita

1. Sign in to your Vita account.
2. Open Settings → Account & subscription → Delete account. If paid access has expired, choose Manage account on the access screen instead.
3. Read the subscription reminder, confirm your password or sign-in provider when requested, and confirm deletion.

This is permanent. You do not need to buy or renew a subscription to delete an account. If deletion reports an error, retry or contact support; do not assume it succeeded until Vita confirms it.

Request deletion without the app

Email support@vitasanctaapp.com with the subject Delete my Vita Sancta account. Send from your account email when possible and state that you want the account and associated data deleted. If you use Apple’s private relay or cannot access the email, explain that so we can arrange another reasonable ownership check.

Request account deletion by email

If the button does not open an email app, copy the address into your normal email service. We verify ownership to prevent someone else from deleting your information. We do not ask you to send a password, payment-card number or authentication code. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, or the shorter period required by applicable law; if more time is lawfully necessary, we explain why. What deletion removes

• Your Vita sign-in account and stored provider authorization tokens.
• Your private cloud planner: tasks, schedules, completions, goals, ratings, progress, points/rewards, reward photos, reflections, custom prayers, prayer commitments and saved settings/configuration.
• Your account-linked Community posts, interactions, reports, blocks and acceptance/moderation records through the account-deletion cascade.
• Your RevenueCat customer profile used by Vita for subscription access.
• On the device performing in-app deletion, that account’s local planner, recovery/archive copies, photo drafts, Digital Discipline state and cached access.

A web/email request cannot remotely erase an offline phone immediately. Other devices may retain local copies until they reconnect or their app data is removed. Store transaction records and limited support, legal or provider security records may remain where required for lawful recordkeeping, fraud prevention or an unresolved dispute. Provider backups, if maintained, expire under the provider’s retention process. Copies of posts or share cards already saved by other people are outside Vita’s control. Cancel store billing separately

Account deletion does not cancel a subscription or automatically issue a refund. You can request deletion before cancelling, but to prevent future charges also open Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions, select Vita Sancta and follow the cancellation steps. Vita also links to subscription management before confirming deletion.

Where Apple authorization cannot be revoked automatically, Vita displays a follow-up: in your Apple Account, go to Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Vita Sancta and stop using Sign in with Apple.

Delete selected information instead

You may delete individual tasks, goals, rewards, custom prayers or your Community posts in the app without deleting the account. For a data-copy request, a privacy concern or help with other saved information, email support. No active subscription is required to make a privacy request.
