Community Guidelines

A place for prayer and encouragement, with room for real life and respect for every person.

These guidelines apply to Prayer Intentions and Small Wins in Vita Sancta. You must accept the in-app Community Terms & Guidelines before posting. They work together with our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Share thoughtfully

Ask for prayer or share something meaningful you have accomplished. Your first name is optional. Other members do not see the Vita account attached to your post, but Vita retains that relationship privately for deletion, safety and moderation. Avoid names, locations or details that could identify someone who has not agreed to be discussed. Do not share phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, account details or other private information.

What is not allowed

• Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, humiliation or personal attacks.
• Hate or abusive content targeting people because of religion, race, ethnicity, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or another protected characteristic. Catholic discussion must remain respectful of people.
• Sexually explicit or exploitative content; grooming; sexualization or exploitation of minors; or requests for such material. Never upload or circulate child sexual abuse material.
• Illegal activity, trafficking, scams, fraud, instructions to harm people, glorification of violence or encouragement of suicide, self-harm or dangerous conduct.
• Impersonation, misleading affiliation claims, deceptive fundraising, advertisements, unsolicited promotion, links/contact solicitation, repetitive posts or manipulation of prayer/like/report counts.
• Content you do not have the right to share, private information about others, or attempts to evade moderation, blocking, suspension or rate limits.
• Medical misinformation or other dangerous instructions presented as a substitute for qualified care. A prayer request is welcome; directing someone to abandon needed care is not.

Simple interactions

Use Prayed for on an intention or Like on a Small Win. One account has one interaction per post and may undo it. These interactions earn no points. There are no comments, private messages or public profiles.

Reporting, blocking and deletion

Open a post’s menu to Report it and choose a reason. Reporting hides that post from your feed while it enters the private review queue. A report is not an automatic removal for everyone. Block poster hides that person’s posts in both sections without revealing their account or notifying them. Manage your blocks through Community’s Blocked posters action. You can delete your own posts from their menu.

Moderation and appeals

Vita uses basic text rules and rate limits to reduce spam and hold potentially inappropriate or identifying content for human review. These checks are not AI and cannot detect every problem. A legitimate sensitive prayer request may be held. A pending or removed post is visible only to its author in My posts. Authorized moderators review pending posts and reports and can approve content, remove it or suspend abusive Community participation. Deleting a post clears its public words and name; it cannot be restored by moderators after deletion.

To ask about a decision, report a concern you cannot report in the app, or raise a child-safety concern, contact support@vitasanctaapp.com. Include a brief description and approximate post date. Do not forward illegal imagery or unnecessary personal information. Reports are reviewed by people; Community is not continuously monitored or an emergency response service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
